We are looking for an entrepreneurial and ambitious private client solicitor with an interest in legal technology to join our innovative team as Head of Legal to help develop and grow the existing legal function of a successful company as a new venture.

Role Profile

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and ambitious private client solicitor with an interest in legal technology to join our innovative team as Head of Legal to help develop and grow the existing legal function of a successful company as a new venture. Your role will entail drafting legal documents and clauses, answering client queries, providing training to partners on legal matters, and collaboration with our development team to automate processes - building a modernised and future-proof practice. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ PQE and a high level of expertise and detailed knowledge dealing with complex private client matters including wills, probate, tax, and trusts. As you will undertake the responsibility of COLP / COFA previous experience within these roles would be ideal but is not necessary.
Requirements
- 3+ years PQE (Ideally 5+)
- High level of expertise of private client matters including wills, trusts and probate
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Drive to innovate and modernise current practices
- Excellent and confident communication
- Ability to self-manage caseload
- High level of proficiency in IT
